Magnum DS Switchgear

  • Rated 600 VAC maximum
  • Using Magnum DS ACB until 6000 A
  • Vertical and cross bus rating are 2000, 3200, 4000, 5000, and 6000 Ampere 8000 & 10000 A continuous cross bus ratings are also available
  • Silver-plated copper main buses are standard. The plating is over the entire length of the bar, not just at the joints
  • Standard bracing is 100 kA

Arc Resistant Switchgear
- Low voltage arc-resistant switchgear
protects operating and maintenance
personnel from dangerous arcing
faults by redirecting or channeling the
arc energy out the top of the
switchgear, regardless of the
origination location of the arc
- Patented bellows design allowing
drawout of breaker into the
disconnected position with the door closed, while simultaneously
protecting the operator from any dangerous gasses during an arc event
